Leadership camps
- Year 11 students from the metropolitan area go up to a remote community and get involved with local families, engage in the countries culture and develop a passion and understanding of the land.
The Camp is Hosted by the Bardi people located at One Arm Point and Djarindjin/Lombadina
Kevin Ejai looks after us through out the week teaching the boys Bardi culture, including hunting, painting, cooking and storry telling.
ICEA leadership camps engage the whole community; on the last night we do a big cook up for all the kids in the community and have Bessy Ejai (Bardi elder) come and tell Bardi stories over a campfire while everyone enjoys a mud crab sandwich or Char-grilled Barramundi!
