facilitator training

ICEA Yarn needs passionate and confident young individuals to facilitate workshops in Perth high schools that develop young Australians with the capacity to drive reconciliation in our community. Facilitators take part in a unique training program that builds knowledge and develops skills in facilitation and leadership.

Come take part in our FREE program of teaching and learning circles with current facilitators, Aboriginal elders and community leaders, cultural awareness trainers and other experts in the fields of education, team building and leadership.

Becoming a Yarn facilitator is a great opportunity to:

  • share your knowledge
  • learn more about Indigenous culture and history
  • become more culturally responsive
  • up-skill in public speaking and workshop facilitation
  • work with young people
  • make new friends
  • expand your professional network

Facilitators can earn $50/hour facilitating workshops in various schools across the metro area.
